Only one week to go before I’ll be sleeping in the God Quad once more. I can’t wait. It hasn’t been that bad of a summer. Sure, being at home is the pits, and dealing with the squatty little republican town of Norhole isn’t all that marvelous either, but all in all, much was accomplished. To me, that’s all that really matters anymore.
I worked quite a bit, and managed to save about $1000, once you add in a few expenses I made. I bought myself a Nintendo DS, the two volumes of CAD comics, which I hope arrive soon, and upgraded some of my art applications. This was the first summer in five years that I spent absolutely no money on hardware for my computer. I’m actually surprised that I haven’t had to. I will probably have my new one built by springtime at the latest. Other than those investments, about the only other money I’ve spent went to people. I am much to eager to treat a person to say, the movies, or lunch, and I feel I must stop for my own good. That kind of thing adds up, and it doesn’t seem to make any form of relationship stronger. In fact, it seems to do the opposite. I can supply several examples of that.
In general, people really piss me off. They can be so ignorant, so blind. When you top that off with their shallowness, their conforming will to do whatever society tells them, you get Zombies. Depressingly predictable, the average person is the source of my pessimist nature. Now, I’ve met a lot of great people, but for each one of those, there is an entire corporate entity of idiot fucksticks out there.
Besides all that, I’ve gotten much work done on MOTQ. For those of you who don’t know, because you have been listening to too much hip-hop, that stands for Masters of the Quad, which is my comic strip. I still haven’t released anything new yet. Check next week at about this time. I’ll have something very special for you all.
I’m counting the minutes before I get to reunite myself with the God Quad. Silent Mike, Mr. Jones, and Rybo-replacement Steven. It will be a good time. It always is.
