Holy cabooses, calm down there! That’s not one, but TWO exclamation points in a blog title. It’s the first post, for Chrissakes! Oh, and now we’re up to two religious expletives and the usage of capitalization for emphasis. We might as well just shut this bad boy down now.
This isn’t my first rodeo when it comes to blogging. I started back in 2004 on LiveJournal, and in 2008 or so I rolled out my own site. After various incarnations and platform changes, I’ve decided to start from scratch. I’m jettisoning all the old content out the airlock and starting out fresh. Mmmm, take in that new blog smell.
You see, I haven’t been consistent. My posts were packaged between an over-abundance of styrofoam months and issues with the site made me hate updating it. This time, the concentration is on the words, not the fancy interface or underutilized features. Oh, and I’m going to try to limit myself to a single space after each period. We’ll see how that goes. Okay, just had to get an extra space in there because it feels so good.
So What the Heck is All This?
Glad you asked. This site is my personal, uncensored, take-it-or-leave-it opinion vessel. I’m going to share the nerdy stuff I geek out over. I’m going to rant about that stupid thing somebody said. I’m going to track my own growth and initiatives. I’ve got a passion for the written word that has grown stiff (giggity) and I have every intention to flex those muscles again.
That’s right, this is just another one of those introduction posts. Strap in and enjoy the ride.
