Introducing the newest member to the party! Kelsier is a 2-year-old Lhasa Apso, rescued from a home that was harboring 53 other dogs in a trailer. All 53 dogs were Lhasa Apsos (Lhasa Apsi?), living in cramped conditions, desperate for attention. Kelsier was one of the last to be adopted,
He’s pretty famous around town.
Originally named Charlie, we tried on a few better names, like Perogie, Oglevie Maurice, Kaladin, Sentinel, and Solo until we landed on Kelsier. He is named after the Survivor of Hathsin from Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn Trilogy. In Mistborn, Kelsier is the psychopathic, overly optimistic protagonist. Although where the Survivor of Hathsin is always grinning, my survivor of a trailer in Milford has permanant grumpy-face, and he gets all the ladies with it.
He joined the Lynk party on October 9th, so he’s been my dude for a month now and he’s been great. Here are some stats:

He’s doing great, and has been the perfect dog for me. He’s super chill, affectionate, and goofy, and training him has been a breeze. The breed is known for being stubborn and territorial; he’s definitely a guard dog and doesn’t like it when new people visit his turf, but when he’s elsewhere he just wants to say hello to everyone. I couldn’t ask for a better dog.
