Also, I have four boxes of assorted Medifast maturing in the corner. It’s time. I can just ignore the expiration dates, right?
As I mentioned before, I’ve started this before, and as tradition, I like to take a few days to indulge myself. It’s harder to miss food when you are sick of it. This time was no exception. It started with Twinkie Wiener Sandwiches on Friday.
For those of you who couldn’t follow along, a Twinkie Wiener Sandwich is a Twinkie, cut down the middle, with a hot dog slid right into the creme filling, topped with canned Easy Cheese.
Saturday, we went to the Undercover Eggplant, home of Oneonta’s best sandwiches. My personal favorite is a recurring special called the Autumn Special. It’s pulled pork, lettuce, onion, tomato, mayo, and squash.
It’s the freakin’ bomb.
Finally, today, I end my smorgasbord with a trip to Five Guys. I don’t ever want to look at food again.
I actually hate the feeling of being full. It makes me feel shitty. It screws with my digestive system. I enjoy food, sure, but rarely to I enjoy it after I’ve eaten it. Even in moderate amounts, I can find gratification in other places that doesn’t turn against me. So for the next couple of months, I’m going to stay on Medifast whether I like it or not, and enjoy the results.
I will definitely miss the Autumn Specials though…
